Best Shampoo for Curly or Wavy Hair
Garnier Fructis Curl & Shine Fortifying Shampoo, $4
With a “luxurious texture” and “wonderful lather,” this left unruly curls looking smooth and well defined.
Best Conditioner for Curly or Wavy Hair
John Frieda Frizz-Ease Curl Around Daily Conditioner, $6
“An amazing detangler,” this thick, silicone-based formula tamed curls and created frizz-free waves.
I have little reason to doubt the validity of the products since I use Frizz-Ease serum to calm frizzes and have tried the Fructis Conditioner before with great results. Not sure when I will try them since I plan on keeping the hair braided for the next 18 months, but it’s still worth remembering.
I use both of these, and I can also say that Suave Coconut conditioner is good for the hair as well. Leaves it soft and curly. I also use a mouse/gel product. I can’t find the bottle right now. (I think the kids took it.) But I use that once my hair is no longer dripping wet, and it keeps the curls nice. I also use Shea butter.
I LOVE sauve coconut conditioner-it’s one of my staples, as well as my own homemade shea butter/jobaba oil mix. I’m interested in your gel/mouse, I can’t find a good gel for my curls.
Okay, I had to go find it. This is what happens when you think you’ve unpacked everything from moving but you didn’t. LOL
It’s called Sunsilk Captivating Curls, gel and cream twist.
I started using it with Sunsilk de-friz shampoo and conditioner. And I loved it. It has a really great smell too. I’ve just switched to Pantene again but I’m going to use it with it as well.
I want to try Jobaba oil on mine and the girls hair, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. lol
Thanks for the info!
